Dr. Maja T. Izquierdo

Dr Maja T. Izquierdo is a Full Professor and transpersonal psychologist whose work integrates academic research, trauma psychology and traditional Amazonian knowledge.

Raised between the Amazon and the Balkans, she developed a unique interdisciplinary approach that connects psychology, anthropology and consciousness research.

She is co-author of the first academic monograph on psychedelic research in the Balkan region and has lectured internationally on trauma, consciousness and cultural ethics.

Her work focuses on trauma integration, expanded states of consciousness and dialogue between indigenous knowledge and modern science.
